CLUB CYCLO/V.T.T. DE KERVIGNAC, commonly known as C.C.V.K., was founded with the goal of promoting cycling and non-motorized biking in all its forms, from casual rides to competitive training, for people of all ages. Our association is rooted in the belief that cycling is more than just a sport—it is a way to connect with nature, foster physical health, and build meaningful relationships within the community.

Since its inception, C.C.V.K. has worked to encourage youth participation in cycling, VTT, and BMX, providing structured education and training programs that help young riders develop skills, confidence, and discipline. Over the years, our club has grown into a vibrant community where riders of all levels can share their passion, learn from one another, and engage in outdoor activities that promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Our mission is clear: to foster a lifelong love of cycling, support youth development through sports education, and strengthen community bonds through shared outdoor activities. Whether it is through organized training sessions, weekend group rides, or local competitions, C.C.V.K. provides a supportive environment where members can grow both physically and personally.

Our Mission

C.C.V.K. is dedicated to:

  • Promoting cycling for all ages, from children taking their first ride to adults seeking recreational or competitive opportunities.

  • Providing youth education and training, emphasizing skill development, safety, and proper cycling techniques.

  • Encouraging healthy lifestyles through regular physical activity and outdoor engagement.

  • Fostering friendship and solidarity, building strong social connections between members, families, and the wider community.

  • Creating inclusive opportunities, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of age, experience, or background, can enjoy cycling in a welcoming and supportive environment.

By focusing on these objectives, C.C.V.K. not only promotes sport but also empowers young people to develop resilience, teamwork, and personal responsibility, preparing them for success in life as well as on the track or trail.

Our Values

The foundation of C.C.V.K. rests on a set of core values that guide all our activities:

  • Respect – for teammates, competitors, the environment, and the principles of fair play.

  • Solidarity – supporting each other, sharing knowledge, and celebrating collective achievements.

  • Discipline – committing to regular practice, continuous improvement, and personal responsibility.

  • Inclusion – welcoming riders of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds to participate fully in our programs.

  • Passion – cultivating a genuine love for cycling and the outdoors, inspiring members to enjoy every ride.

These values are not just principles—they are actively taught and reinforced through our programs, competitions, and community initiatives, ensuring that C.C.V.K. members grow into confident, respectful, and socially engaged individuals.

Our Vision

C.C.V.K. envisions a future where cycling is accessible, safe, and celebrated as a vital part of community life. Our long-term goals include:

  • Expanding youth education programs to reach more children and teenagers, instilling early interest and skills in cycling, BMX, and VTT.

  • Strengthening partnerships with schools, local organizations, and other sports associations to create broader opportunities for training, competition, and community engagement.

  • Organizing events, competitions, and recreational rides that encourage participation, camaraderie, and healthy competition.

  • Promoting cycling as a sustainable, environmentally friendly mode of transport and recreation that contributes to overall community well-being.

  • Developing a multi-generational network of members, volunteers, and supporters, ensuring that the club thrives and inspires future generations.

Through these efforts, we aim to be a leading model of community-based cycling development, nurturing not only skilled cyclists but also responsible, resilient, and socially conscious citizens.

A Community of Riders and Mentors

What truly makes C.C.V.K. special is our community spirit. Our club is powered by the dedication of coaches, volunteers, parents, and members who contribute time, knowledge, and energy to support the next generation of cyclists. Their commitment allows us to maintain high-quality training programs, organize engaging events, and create a welcoming space where everyone feels included.

We believe that every young rider has potential waiting to be discovered. Through structured guidance, encouragement, and mentorship, C.C.V.K. helps youth develop technical skills, build confidence, and embrace teamwork. Our members learn to overcome challenges, celebrate achievements, and apply the lessons learned on the trail to everyday life.

Moving Forward

As C.C.V.K. continues its journey, we remain committed to our founding principles: to foster passion for cycling, empower youth, and strengthen community ties through outdoor sports. Every pedal stroke, every ride, and every event represents an opportunity to promote healthy living, personal growth, and social connection.

We invite families, aspiring cyclists, and community supporters to join us in creating a future where cycling is not only a sport but a lifelong passion, a tool for learning, and a bridge between generations. Together, we can ensure that C.C.V.K. continues to inspire and engage the community for years to come.
